The Grand Prize judging is currently underway and the Readers’ Choice judging will start on February 1, 2017. Check back here for the link to the Readers’ Choice on February 1!

About the JABBIC

JABBIC 2016 is for covers appearing on works published in 2016.

This year’s categories include:

  • Contemporary Romance
  • Historical
  • Inspirational
  • Romantic Suspense
  • Science Fiction/Fantasy/Paranormal (SFFP)
  • Sexiest Cover
  • Single Title/Mainstream
  • Young Adult

And we’d just like to clarify our policies, as some of you have inquired about these in the past:

  • A work of any length — short story, novella, novel, or even part of a collection or a boxed set — can be entered.
  • A work that has been published in a year prior to 2016 but that now has a new cover that was released in 2016 is allowed.

The contest fee is $15 per entry.

Grand Prize Winners and Readers Choice Winners will be announced on February 16, 2017.

We’re always on the lookout for great new Judges, so if you would like to recommend either a brick-and-mortar or online bookseller to judge, please let us know in the Comments section! We’d love to add to our list of terrific judges!

If you have further questions, be sure to ask in the Comments section.

We can’t wait to see this year’s entries!

And the Winners are….
